Janet Poole Briggs, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Briggs. She is survived by her daughter, son, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Private Family Home Going Service will be held at the Largo Community Church, 1701 Enterprise Road, Mitchellville, MD 20721 on January 25, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment immediately following services at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1300 Bladensburg Rd., NE, Washington, DC.
