Billy Earn Chapman
Billy Earn Chapman died peacefully at his home in El Reno on Jan. 27, 2021, with his family by his side.
Billy was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Bromide. A longtime resident of El Reno, he worked at Pan-Tex Cleaners for many years before retiring. In 1952, he married the love of his life, Bina Janice Faler, who survives him.
Billy was an avid fisherman and a member of the Oklahoma Bass Association of the Deaf.
His greatest joy was fishing and camping with friends and family. He also enjoyed being with his friends at the Oklahoma City Senior Citizens Association of the Deaf.
Billy is also survived by his children and spouses, John and Donna Chapman of El Reno, Jeff and Tammy Chapman of Pie Town, N.M., and Lynnette and Curt McManaman of Norman; sister-in-law, Beverly Faler of Mustang; grandchildren and spouses, Kimberly and Gray Haller, Lauren and Darrick Porter, Tyler and Ricci McManaman, Charis and Chris Kobza, Kelsy and Chad Keiser, Zachary and Abigail McManaman, C.J. Chapman, Erica Fleenor and Beau Henson; great-grandchildren, Colton Vaught, Hadlee Haller, Chandon and Brinley Porter, Declan and Elearnor McManaman; Addi and Lily Kobza, Kassidy, Hudson and Mallory Keiser, Forest McCamp, Rylan and Haven Fleenor, Elsie and Eli Chapman and Brayden and Dasyn Henson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents, Earn and Mary Leatha (Shummard) Chapman, preceded him in death.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
