Lydia NEHER, daughter of Levi and Catherine [SHEETS] NEHER, was born about 4 miles northeast of the city on May 8, 1874. On July 7, 1896, she was united in marriage to Cora LANDIS, the union being blessed with the birth of two sons, one of whom, Laurel, died at the age of one year. The other son, Raymond, and the sorrowing husband survive, as do also two sisters, Mrs. Joe NORTON of east of Bringhurst and Mrs. Albert PETERSON of west of Delphi, and two brothers, John NEHER of Rochester and George NEHER of Argos, Indiana. For the past seven years she had been a resident of Flora and for 15 year a member of the first Brethren church.
