Mr. Billy D. Boyd, age 87 of Jena, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Jena Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Boyd was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was a member of East Jena Baptist Church, served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for Justice Oil Company for 35 years. Mr. Boyd was a hardworking, oil-field tough man that said the "worse boss" he ever had was, his wife, Mrs. Orvalynn in their catering business "Cakes and More". Mr. Boyd never met a stranger, loved to tell stories and said "I talk a lot because my brother Mickey don't".
Mr. Boyd is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Orvalynn Willis Boyd; a daughter, Nancy McCool; a brother, Carlos "Mickey" Boyd; sister in law, Cynthia Bryan and a brother in law Jimmy Willis and wife Sue.
