Phyllis Jean “PJ” Warner, age 82 of Englewood, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021, at her home. She was born on April 24, 1938 to the late Cora B. (Wills) and John J. Olwine in Dayton, Ohio. Phyllis was a 1956 Fairview High School graduate. She worked as a Secretary at a local medical society and later at a local church. She and her husband, Paul Kent were long time members of Salem Church of the Brethren and Mack Memorial Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed traveling with her family to places such as Germany, France, and Austria to name a few. Phyllis was a huge advocate for wildlife protection. She always made sure to donate to various associations that helped animals and wildlife. She also enjoyed reading mystery novels, Plain American Life (Amish Living), and Biblical & Christian Heritage. Above all, her family was her greatest joy.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Paul Kent Warner, son; Michael (Michelle) Warner, daughter; Melissa Shockney, grandchildren; Brandon Michael Shockney, Paige Danielle (Dakota) Pricer, Mara Ashton (Cody) Reichard, Tess Elizabeth Warner, brother-in-law; Paul Edward Hissong, nephew; Jeffrey (Diane) Hissong, sisters-in-law; Sharrene (Richard) Wheeler, Diane Gibson, along with numerous other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Along with her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her sister; Patricia Hissong and brother-in-law; Robert Gibson.

A private burial for Phyllis will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Lee Saylor officiating at Abbottsville Cemetery in Arcanum, Ohio.
