Rodney Lee Stephens, 56, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord, on January 30th, 2021.

Rodney was born on September 30, 1964, in Santa Barbara, California to Carl and Florence Stephens. He graduated from Mounds High School in 1982 and received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Oklahoma State University in 1986.

He worked for the State of Oklahoma for eighteen years. The rest of his career was spent at Manhattan Construction Company as director of Business Systems. Rodney loved his family, visiting his grandchildren, cooking, gardening, shopping, decorating, and listening to good music while driving.

He is survived by his father, Carl Stephens; his son, Zachary Stephens and wife Caitlin Stephens, his son, Luke Stephens and girlfriend Amy Van Tuyle; his grandchildren, Grayson Stephens and Wyatt Stephens; his brother, Carl Wayne Stephens and sister, Carolyn Quick and husband Don Quick; nephews, Shawn Busby and Danny Stephens, and his nieces, Melissa Stevens and Tiffany Quick. He is proceeded in death by his loving mother, Florence Stephens and niece, Teri Lynn Tarter.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, February 4th at 2pm

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd from 5pm to 7pm.
