Shortly after, he enlisted into the Marines, where he served four years. Then, he chose to serve with the Air Force for another three years. Within his years spent in the Air Force, he met his first wife, Chong Suk Ha. He built a life in Forest Park, Georgia as a pipefitter and became a father of two children. Jamal Lee Craig was born on May 23, 1988 and Malesha Suk Craig was born January 19, 1990.
He became very passionate about biblical studies in the 2000s and started his Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies at Beulah Heights University, where he graduated Cum Laude on May 7, 2011. He continued his studies at Liberty University and earned a Master’s in Theological Studies, graduating on July 16, 2014. He was fortunate to retire from pipefitting in 2017.
Charlie was blessed with five grandchildren: Jaylen Makael Craig, Makayle Janee’ Hudson, Mackenzie Lee Hudson, Trevione Dwayne Hudson Jr., and Taylor Sade Hudson. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren, fishing, grilling, and walking at least five miles a day. If there is one thing you could take away from him it is: spread love. Rest peacefully.
