Jeanne S. Bell born July 1st , 1926 willingly answered her saviors voice as He called her home on January 16, 2021.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Joseph J. Bell Sr. She leaves behind daughter Christine L. Collins and her husband John D. Collins along with 4 grandchildren Faith Collins, Benjamin Collins, Hope Collins, and Caleb Collins.

Jeanne graduated from John Harris High School in 1944. She was a member of the marching band where she played the flute and piccolo. After graduating high school, she worked at International Harvester and then at Bell Telephone.

While living on Liberty Street in Harrisburg with her mother, Violet I. Swauger, they started doing ceramics. Once Jeanne was married, and they all moved to Dillsburg they established their shop under the name of Bell’s Ceramics Shop. It grew to be the largest wholesale ceramic shop on the east coast. The did everything from developing a formula for the slip to pour into the molds to selling the bisque for others to paint. Her sales were so fabulous, that The Duncan paint company from California sent representatives to see what she was doing to get the sales she had. She broke the “glass ceiling” for a woman to own and operate a successful business.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Dillsburg and then South Mountain U.B Church also in Dillsburg. She loved Jesus very much and was an amazing Sunday school teacher.

When at home she loved sewing quilts, clothes, and blankets. She made many overside receiving blankets for many new moms. She also loved holding her grandbabies, watching Joyce Meyers with them, and snuggling in her big bed. She loved her family so much she would move heaven and earth to do whatever they needed.

Jeanne S. Bell was an amazing woman. She loved with her whole heart and poured her life into her family. She is a daughter of the king and was called before the foundations of the earth. God knew she would be the powerful praying kind of wife, mother and Nana her family would need. She was our biggest cheerleader for all our endeavors. She now dances on the streets of gold with her savior and king. She is healthy, whole, and healed living life now more fully then before.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 29th, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the Legacy Faith Church, 104 Roberts Valley Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110 at 11:30 am with the Pastors Greg Helman and Marc Stephenson officiating.
