Obituary for Patricia Lee Anthony
Patricia Lee Jump Anthony of Queenstown, MD passed away on January 29, 2021 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD of Covid-19 complications. She was 83.

Born on March 30, 1937 in Ruthsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Paul Jump, Sr. and Mary Ava Chance Jump. Patricia was raised in Centreville, MD and graduated from Centreville High School, class of 1955. She married Milton Daniel Anthony on March 23, 1955.

Patricia was a devoted mother of four children. She was a hard worker who loved to cook, shop and fish. Patricia was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion with post 278 and post 296.

She is survived by her children Brenda Tryon; James “Matt” Madison Anthony; Mary Beth Anthony (Robert Howell); Alan Hoyt Anthony; three grandchildren Jennifer Hall; Dena Lister; Julia Anthony; seven great grandchildren; and sister Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Churn. In addition to her parents and her husband Milton Daniel Anthony, who passed in March 2011, Patricia was predeceased by her brothers William Jump, Jr. and Bruce E. Jump.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 130 pm to 230 pm at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. in Centreville, MD, where a service will begin at 230 pm and be live webcast at https://www.fhnfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Patricia-Anthony-11/ Burial will follow in Chesterfield Cemetery.
