Gail Valentine Russell, 82, of Huntley passed away Friday evening, January 22, 2021, surrounded by her family.
She was born February 14, 1938, in Chicago. The daughter of Adam and Bernice (Barker) Lapinski. Gail married Daniel Russell on February 16, 1956. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntley. Gail was passionate about gardening and loved playing Yahtzee and cards with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Kelly) Lawson, Ralph Russell, and Glenn Russell; grandchildren, Celisse, Eliza, Rachel and Hannah; sister, Barbara Thomas; and brother Al (Joyce) Lapinski.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Daniel.
