Bobby R. Morgan, age 75, of Dayton, passed away January 31, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1945 to the late Mallie (Griffitts) and Bill Morgan in Hazard, Kentucky. He retired after many years from his position as a Machinist for Duriron, which later became Flowserve. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and North Dayton Pentecostal Church in Dayton, that he and his family helped build.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years; Polly (Hoskins) Morgan, son; Bobby (Christy) Morgan, daughter; Vanda Morgan, grandchildren; Darik Grover, Natilee Grover, Elizabeth (Jordon) Morgan-Mills, Zack Morgan, Bobby Morgan, Austin Morgan, siblings; Paul (Loretta) Morgan, Odus (Linda) Morgan, Hallie (Ronald) Hall, sister-in-law; Fern Morgan, brother-in-law; Billy Lawson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
A walk-through visitation will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood. Due to covid, the family requests that you maintain social distance and wear a face mask. Bobby’s funeral service will be held at 3 pm with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at 10 am Monday, February 8, 2021 at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia.
