Emma D. Crosthwaite, daughter of George T. Cooper and Arizona (Riddle), beloved mother and grandmother passed away, Friday, November 20th, 2020 at the age of 81.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Crosthwaite Sr., daughters, Deborah K. Bennett, Suzanne D. Beavers, son, Lionel H. Clawson, brothers Wendell, George, Johnny, and Kenny.

She is survived by her son, Donald L. Crosthwaite, Jr.; 11 grandchildren, April Friedrichs (Crosthwaite), Donald L Crosthwaite, III, Jennifer Crosthwaite, William Crosthwaite, Anna Crosthwaite, Emily Laswell (Bennett), Jonathan Bennett, Joshua Beavers, Jeremy Beavers, Justin Beavers, Dakota Cloud (Clawson) and 21 great grandchildren.

Emma loved her community, family, and friends. She contributed over 3,000 volunteer service hours to Grandview Hospital, aided multiple local and national veterans’ with refinancing homes, and countless hours of card games and movies with family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 12:30 pm until time of memorial service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at David's Cemetery.
