CROUCH, Roy Orange of Gause. Age 73. Died 12/29/1972 in a Hearne hospital. He had been in failing health for several months. Services held (Sunday) 12/31/1972 in Phillips & Luckey Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in the Gause Cemetery. Rev. Glenn Connell, Jr., Gause Baptist minister, officiated.

He had lived in Gause 52 years and was BORN 1/10/1898 in Oxford, Mississippi to the late M/M Joseph Crouch. He was a farmer and rancher. Married Miss Owida Lockhart 5/20/1920 at Gause.

SURVIVORS: Wife of Gause; 3 sons, J.D. Crouch of Longview, Roy E. Crouch of Gause and Iva Crouch of Houston; 3 daughters, Mrs. Hattie Cox of Bellaire, Mrs. Ida Faye Morgan of Houston and Mrs. Bobbie Mae Hairston of Gause; brother, T.W. Crouch of Dallas; 4 sisters, Mrs. Maggie Young and Mrs. Daisey Coward, both of Austin, Mrs. Mattie Morrison of Killeen and Mrs. Ruby Braden of Cameron; also, 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
