Doug Simmons, 76, passed away January 30, 2021. He was born January 25, 1945 in Big Spring, Texas to John Elmer and Mattie Mae (Rhodes) Simmons.
Doug served in the United States Army, serving in Germany during the Vietnam Era. After his service he worked 40 years as a manufacturer Enginer for Bell Helicopter until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of the Westside Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by both parents and 2 brothers, Clarance and Harlan Simmons.Survived by his wife of 42 years, Jackie Simmons, sons, Todd Bean and Timothy Simmons, grand children, great grand children as well as numerous extended family and friends.
He will privately be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas...BRFH
