Evansville - Earl Jackson, 97, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Heritage Healthcare. He was born March 10, 1923 in Evansville to the late Ed Jackson and Mae (Scheller) Hunt.
Earl retired from both Courier Printing Corporation and Whirlpool. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, VFW 1114 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Earl is survived by his children, Jane Happe, Marlene Dassel, Diane Hatfield and Thomas Jackson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Rita Marie Jackson; son, Richard Jackson; and brothers, Jack and Eddie Jackson.
Due to the pandemic, private services will be held . Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Published in Courier Press from Feb. 1, to Feb. 2, 2021.
