GLEN RAY CALDWELL, 62, of Duncan, went home to rest on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, after a short but very courageous fight with cancer.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will be in Duncan Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 7, 1945, in Duncan, to Jack and Helen Earnhart Caldwell. Glen was a member of Duncan High School Class of 1964.
Glen had a tremendous love of life and enjoyed every day. He loved hunting, fishing, and was an expert garage saler. Glen had a smile for everyone he saw. He will be missed by many wonderful friends.
Survivors include the love of his life, Phyllis Forsythe of Duncan; a sister, Linda and her husband Duane Callihan; a stepdaughter, Jada and husband Tim Valentine; four grand-children, Mikka McClain, Eve Starr, Emily Valentine and Mason Valentine; and a sister-in-law, Georgetta Durnan, all of Duncan; and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Laquita Crow of Sherman, Texas.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jackie "Jocko" Caldwell.
Bearers will be Bobby Beck, Ed Earnhart, Jerry Wilson, Gary Douglas, Jim Powers and Gary Don Moore.
Honorary bearers are the "Shop 'n Bag" gang.
