Bobby "Bob" Albright, 85, passed away at Taylor House Hospice on January 30, 2021.
He was born in Eldora, IA to Paul and Floretta Albright.
His family moved to Minneapolis, MN for his father's work, and returned to Des Moines in 1945.
Bob attended Woodside School and was involved in football and basketball.
He married Bonny June Jacobs and they had six children: David, Debra, Robby, Brian, Mark, and Kris.
Bob accepted Christ as his Savior at age 15 at Saylorville Baptist Church. Over the years, he also attended Grandview Park Baptist Church and Community Baptist Church.
Bob worked in the construction industry building new homes.
Bob and Bonny also owned a cabinet distributorship in the late 70's.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Bonny; his children, David Albright (Nona) of Des Moines, Debra Williams (John) of Prairie Village, KS, Rob Albright (Tammy) of Alleman, Mark Albright (Denise) of Ankeny, and Kris McGee (Hiram) of Lancaster, OH; his brother, Skip (Elnora); sister, Jeri; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian; his parents, Paul and Floretta; brother, Bill (Jerri), and parents-in-law, Gilbert and Laureta Jacobs.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Community Baptist Church, 4703 N. Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023.
