Betty was born and lived in Greenville County her whole life. She retired from Cryovac and was a faithful member of Peoples Baptist Church.
In addition to her loving dogs, Lil Bit and Rosie, she is survived by her long-time friend and companion, Jarvis Edward “Ed” Allen; her son, Byron Odom of Laurens; two granddaughters, Cortney Crumley and Stephanie Odom of Easley; and one brother.
She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
