Laura Jane Sipe, 72, of Alma passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her home.
She was born June 29, 1948 in Danville, KY to the late Craig and Beulah (Benton) Hogue.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
She was a retired Medical Director working 20 years at St. Edwards and 10 years at Sparks. Laura was of the Baptist faith, an avid reader and Star Trek fan.
Survivors include her husband Richard of the home; sons, Chris Sipe and fiancé Billie of Poteau, OK and Steve Sipe and wife Miraya of Alma; grandsons, Christopher Sipe and wife Cheyenne of Tioga, ND, Kyle Sipe of Broken Bow, OK and DJ Sipe and Hunter Sallee both of Alma; granddaughter, Kayla Sipe of Alma and great grandchildren, Carter, Cayden and Christian.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Alma City Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The service will be livestreamed of the Ocker-Putman Facebook page.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Sipe, Christopher Sipe, DJ Sipe, Hunter Sallee, Lester Reinschmiedt and Adam Hogue.
