Gladys Ruth Longstreth Dickson, 89, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 16, 2005, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Llano Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. John Wagoner officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.

Mrs. Dickson, a longtime resident of Amarillo, went to be with the Lord on Saturday. She was born Oct. 10, 1915, in the township of Wayne, Pa. She was an artist of many talents and was a member of Borger Arts Club while living in Borger. She will be missed by all her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas Dickson; and a son, Richard D. Dickson.

Survivors include a son, Michael Ligon Dickson and wife, Mary Jane Rumold Dickson, of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Lesley Shannon Dickson and Matthew Ligon Dickson, both of Albuquerque; a great-grandson, Trevor of Albuquerque; a sister, Mary Longstreth Easley of Amarillo; and a brother, Johnny Longstreth of Las Vegas.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice or Olivia's Angels, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
