E. Benson Lollar

E. Benson Lollar, 77, of Kilmichael died Friday morning, December 9 at Kilmichael Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Lollar was a native of Choctaw County and a partner in Lollar Bros. Garage and a member of Kilmichael Baptist Church. He was a former mayor of Kilmichael and served as deacon many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Blanche Kemp Lollar of Kilmichael; one son, Junnell Lollar of Kilmichael; two sisters, Mrs. Balfour Morgan of Kilmichael and Mrs. Nancy Oswalt of Greenville; one brother, D. M. Lollar of Kilmichael; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Phillip Bray assisted by Rev. Howard Smith at Kilmichael Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 10. Burial was in Kilmichael Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were B. G. Harper, E. F. Henderson, Willie Stavely, Milton Brister, Louis Pearson and Bobby Howell.
