Lloyd Bagwell dies at Batesville hospital May 10

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. May 11 for Loyd Bagwell, who died Sunday at the Batesville Hospital after an extended illness.

A native of Kilmichael, Mr. Bagwell was a member of the First Baptist Church at Batesville and the Men's Bible Class. He also was a member of the Kilmichael Masonic Lodge.

He was 69 years old.

Officiating at the services at Kilmichael Baptist Church were Dr. J. R. Davis and Rev. James Parker. Burial was in the Kilmichael cemetery, Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Huffman Bagwell, Batesville; four brothers, Curtis Bagwell, Memphis; Kenneth Bagwell, Parchman; Jim Bagwell, West Memphis, Arkansas: and Leonard Bagwell, Buchanan, Michigan: two sisters, Mrs. D.C. Braswell, Memphis, and Mrs. Roy Stovall, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and 17 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were C. M. Taylor, Charles Bagwell, Milton Brister, R. B. McMinn, Noel Williams and E. L. Tindoll. Honorary pallbearers were members of his Sunday School class.
