EDWARD "ALLEN" HAYES, 53, of Celina, formerly of Sidney, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 Mercer Health in Coldwater, Ohio.

He was born on March 3, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Harold Dean and Mabel Rose (Morrow) Hayes.

Allen is survived by two siblings, Kat Hayes of Celina and Kevin (Holly) Hayes of Sidney; six nieces and nephews, Kaylee (Julio) Ibarra, Kesha (Colby) Starliper, Jacob Pierce, Kyle (Kennedy) Pierce, Ciera Hayes and Morgan Hayes; six great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaxxyn, Brylee, Ivie, Westyn, Kayden and one on the way; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a very close cousin, Wendy Morrow, and several aunts and uncles.

Allen enjoyed Eldora Speedway Dirt Late Model racing, rock and fossil hunting and fixing things that were broken or in need of repair. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his siblings, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Pastor Jim Oates officiating.
