A.L. Orrell of 722 East Walnut Street died this morning at 8 o'clock at his home. He was 68 years old and came here 33 years ago from Fayetteville, N.C. Mr. Orrell was employed by the Atlantic Coast Line railroad for many years. Until recently, he was representative of the Fuller Brush company in this district.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rowena Orrell of Lakeland; one son, Lt Robert W. Orrell, who is stationed at San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. George Strange of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Joseph R. Price of Lakeland; one brother, Charles Orrell of Baltimore, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. R. N. Sampson of Bennettsville, S.C., Mrs. F. M. Durant of Elizabethon, Tenn., and Mrs. Annie McMurray of Lakeland, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced later by Snook Funeral Home.
