Frieda Jean Hall Blakemore, born Jan. 22, 1934, left this Earth on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, from her residence at St. Francis Park Assisted Living in Kennett MO, having attained the age of 86 years.

Frieda was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a loyal friend. She was a long-time member of The First Baptist Church of Holcomb until it's disbanding, at which time she became a member of The United Methodist Church of Holcomb. One of her greatest interests was geneology, and she participated in a number of geneological societies. She held the Offices of Regent, Registrar, and several other offices in the local chapter. She also served as District Director of The Southeast District. She was also a member of the UDC, and The Huguenot Society. She and her husband Joe traveled extensively over the years, visiting many states and foreign countries. Travel was one of her great joys. Aside from her time spent creating a safe, solid and loving home environment for her family, she also played a number of important roles in the family business, where she became close friends with many of the customers and employees. Frieda could always be counted on by friends and family in times of need. She will be missed by all.

Frieda was joined in Holy Matrimony to Joe W. Blakemore, on July 25, 1953 at The Methodist Church in Campbell MO. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Hall, her mother Emogene Quinn Hall, father-in-law Pickens Blakemore, mother-in-law Edith Blakemore, brother J.A. Hall Jr., grandsons Adam and William Hayes, four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in law, as well as several close friends.

All mourn her loss.
