Cynthia Ann Bullard passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Arlington, TX.
Cynthia was born in Ben Hur, Texas on September 3, 1937 to Milton Patterson and Lucille Rogers Patterson. She went to Mart High School where she was very active in sports and was a star volleyball and basketball player. Her love of those games continued into her college career where she was named all- tournament player on the college volleyball team at NTSU.
At twenty years old she had gotten her degree in Education and was teaching school in West Texas when she met her husband, Norris. They had two sons Clint and Dirk. They moved to Arlington in 1961 where she continued to teach and further her education at TCU getting her Masters in Elementary counseling and was a counselor in AISD for many years.

After retirement she did Post Master Education and established a Family and Marriage Counseling Service. Cynthia was a member of many clubs and organizations. She was a member of ABC Sunday School class at Trinity Methodist for over fifty years. She loved to play bridge with friends frequently. She also liked to travel and see different countries and she and Norris visited over fifty countries around the world.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Glynda Greenlee.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Norris Bullard; two sons, Dirk Bullard of Arlington and Clint Bullard and wife, Tricia of Florida, and sister, LaDell Dietrich of Florida.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, February 1, 6:00-8:00 pm at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, 76013. Graveside services for Cynthia will be on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, 11:30 am at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas 75211.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriner Children's Hospital.
