Gwendolyn Kay Williams, 64, passed away on January 27, 2021.

She was born on October 4, 1956.

Gwendolyn worked in the Insurance Industry. She spent her time gardening and going to the beach when time permitted. Often times she could be found shopping at some of her favorite stores. Spending time with her family was most important to her. Mrs. Williams was a God fearing woman.

She met her husband Austin Delane Williams 48 years ago. Of those 48 years, they had been married for 42. Gwendolyn and Austin always read and studied their bible lessons together. She also enjoyed spending time with her immediate as well as extended family.

Gwendolyn was always vibrant and full of life. People who came in contact with her quickly realized that she did not meet a stranger. She was a very outgoing person. Spending time with her three dogs and one cat was part of her everyday life also. Gwendolyn will forever be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Johnson and Zelma Cashwell-White; a brother, Robin White; her stepfather, Ollin White; and her grandparents, Evie Norton Cashwell and William Carson Cashwell.

Gwendolyn is survived by her husband, Austin Delane Williams; a step-son, Christian Thomas Cummings of Pembroke; one brother, Jimmy White and his wife Adali of Hope Mills; three sisters: Jennifer White Reneau and her husband Timmy of Fayetteville, Patricia Johnson Blackwell and her husband JW of St. Pauls, and Donna Johnson Royal and husband Milton of Fayetteville; her nephews: Christopher Rogers, Austin Reneau, Justin White and Gill Ruiz; and her niece, Veronica Fernandez.
