Linda Kay Lane (Dial) passed peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 1:51 p.m., in Sikeston, Missouri.



Linda was born on August 3, 1950 in Sikeston, Missouri, to Billy S. Dial and Dorothy L. Dial-Atwell. Linda was raised in Portageville, Missouri and graduated from Portageville High School in 1969. Linda had a successful career as a district supervisor for an in-home healthcare facility. Throughout her life, she loved to care for others. Linda was married to the love of her life, Allen “Lynn” Lane, for 31 years. During their 31 years of marriage, Linda gave birth to and raised two children, John Allen Lane and Lana Marie Lane, who were the light of her life.



Linda was preceded in death by her father, Billy S. Dial, her mother, Dorothy L. Dial-Atwell; her son John Allen Lane; her late husband Lynn Lane; and her sister Anita Pfeffer.



Linda is survived by her daughter Lana Marie Lane of Poplar Bluff, MO; her siblings: Michael (Sharon) Dial of Heathsville, VA; her twin sister, Paula (David) Savat of Poplar Bluff, MO; and Russell (Carlene) Dial of Sikeston, MO. Three grand daughters: Lauren (Trey) Hastings of Matthews, MO; Savannah M. Lane and Sunni M. Lane of Poplar Bluff, MO; her favorite grandson, John (Star) Lane of Hayti, MO; and one great grand daughter, Caroline Olivia Hastings of Matthews, MO. Along with an abundance of nieces and nephews.



Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but what she loved the most was telling others about Jesus and His love. Linda is a beautiful soul who lit up any room she entered. She was a headstrong woman who always said, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Linda touched many lives and continues to after her passing.



Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2021 11-11:30 AM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Then a GRAVESIDE service will be at 11:45 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Ray Owens officiating.
