Nathan Arnold Meley

Nathan Arnold Meley, 51, of 12 Steber road, Venturetown, died at Warren General Hospital at 9:15 p.m. Saturday Aug. 5, 1967.

Born Aug. 22, 1915 in Tionesta, he had been a resident of Warren since 1946. Employed as a mechanic at Midtown Motors for the past year, he had worked at Devore's Keystone Station and Sunray products Co. in North Warren. He was a member of the North Warren United Presbyterian Church, and North Warren Volunteer Fire Department. He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife Audrey and seven children; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Chester Mealy of Tiona; two sisters Mrs. Doris Britton and Mrs. Twila Gustafson, both of Warren; two half brothers Neal Meley of Warren and Clifford Mealy of Russell; one half sister Mrs. Robert Dunn of Clarendon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 8, 1967, with the Rev. Nelson Deck of North Warren United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Tionesta.

Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9p.m. Monday.
