Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, Oct 11, 2007 at Lenora Baptist Church, Snellville. Rev. Terry Briscoe, Rev. Terry Rolader and Rev. Horace Parr will officiate. Burial Church Cemetery.
Rev. Moon was retired from General Motors with 33 years of service, past Master of the Snellville Masonic Lodge #99, a member of the Snellville Eastern Star #535 and a member of Lenora Baptist Church. He served as Pastor at Honey Creek
Baptist Church, Corinth Baptist Church, Macedonia Baptist Church in DeKalb County; Lebanon Baptist Church, New Rock Springs Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church in Gwinnett County.
Rev. Moon is survived by his wife, LaRue Moon, Loganville; sons and daughters-in-law, Milton and Linda Moon, Oxford; Phillip and Brenda Moon, Loganville; Tracy and Gloria Moon, Loganville; brother and sister-in-law, Dewey Hildred and Marilyn Moon, Bold Springs; sisters, Ida Mae Langley, Snellville; Eleanor Smith, Lithonia; sister-in-law, Margie Sears, Helen; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
