Harry Lafayette Pace passed away on March 31, 2017 at age of 84 after a brief illness. He was born in Milton, FL on Sept 16, 1932, where he resided until entering the Air Force at the age of 18. He served his country for 22 years, during which he had 3 overseas tours, Guam, Germany, and Vietnam. During his service time, he was licensed as a minster by Big Ridge Baptist Church in Biloxi, Ms. and Ordained by Faith Baptist Church in Germany. He pastored a church in Pirmasens, Germany. He retired with honors as a Master Sergeant from the Air Force. After retiring, he continued pastoring and attended Baptist Bible Institute in Graceville, Florida where he received a diploma in Theology and a Bachelor in Ministry. After he could no longer pastor a church, he had a great passion for studying and teaching the Bible and fellowship with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia Lundy Pace, daughters Jamie Kratky (Robert), Micheala Pace and Amanda Pace. Sons Clayburn Pace (Tina) and Jimmy Pace. Step Children Jeff Lundy, Jimmy Lundy (Carmen), and Pam Spanier (Richard). Brother Perry Pace (Janette) and sister Lavonda Craft (Dexter), and 9 grandchildren and 12 great Grandchildren.

He loved his family. He was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and loved his church family. Services will be held at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Hwy 4 Baker Florida on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 with viewing at 10:00 am and services at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Building or New Bus Funds.
