NEW CASTLE, Ind.--Timmy R. Thompson, 32, R.R. 4, died Wednesday in Veterans Hospital, Indianapolis, after a long illness.
Mr. Thompson was a native and lifelong resident of New Castle and an Army veteran. He was employed by the Henry County Farm Bureau Co-Op for 6 years and was also employed for 5 years at a farm owned by Steve Hernley.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie Thompson, New Castle; a stepson, Jason, New Castle; his parents, Harry Thompson, Mooreland, and Julia (Mrs. Jack) Arnold, Muncie; a sister, Delanna (Mrs. Leonard) Losey, Mooreland; two brothers, Harry D. Thompson Jr. and Jeffrey Shannon Thompson, both of Mooreland, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Main and Frame Blue River Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in West Lawn Addition of South Mound Cemetery. Calling at the chapel will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
