He was the husband of Regina Harper Keller. They were married for over 63 years.
Born Sept. 2, 1907, in Jefferson, he was a son of the late Lemuel J. and Lottie B. Hine Keller.
Mr. Keller was a member of Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ, Frederick.
He was a member of numerous local organizations and social clubs. He was a member and former president of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.
He was a partner in the general contracting firm of L.J. Keller & Sons for over 30 years. He supervised construction of many local area schools and other public buildings in Frederick County.
Mr. Keller was an accomplished trumpet player, performing for many years with area dance bands, and had an avid love for music. He was a member of Potomac Valley Chapter of the American Theater Organ Enthusiasts.
There will be no visiting or calling at the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Mr. Keller's pastor, the Rev. Frederick A. Wenner, will officiate.
Those wishing to attend should assemble at the Francis Scott Key Memorial Chapel near the front entrance of Mount Olivet by 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.
