VIVIAN "PAT" DARLENE JOHNSON was born on June 27, 1935 to Clarence and Irene (Bedow) Jeske in Springfield, Minnesota. She moved to Balaton when she was 13 years old. Later in life she earned her GED and an associate's degree. On July 4, 1954 she was united in marriage to Eugene Johnson on her family farm. Their marriage was blessed with 11 children. Pat worked as a waitress and at Swift's, Schwan's, and was also a volunteer driver for Western Community Action. Pat died peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Avera Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Tyler, Minnesota at the age of 85 years, seven months, and three days.

Pat enjoyed working with her flowers. She valued her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She had a kind heart and was a caring person. Pat was well known for her fabulous hugs.

Pat is lovingly remembered by seven children, Julie Johnson of Balaton, Alan (Janet) Johnson of Marshall, Minnesota, Randolph (Jackie) Johnson of Marshall, Jean (Gary) Christianson of Alexandria, Minnesota, Micheal Johnson of Balaton, Tony (Lois) Johnson of Cottonwood, Minnesota, and Joann (John) Condelli of Balaton; 29 grandchildren, Jerry (Casey), Quinton, Cassandra (Nick), Caitlyn, Caleb (Bri), Christopher (Kaia), Angela (Casey), Amanda, Kassondra (Tony), Natasha, Erik, Alexis (Derek), Autumn (Brandon), Justin (Robyn), Nathan (Katelyn), Sabrina, Josh, and Nadine (Kenyan); 18 great-grandchildren, Nola, Lyra, Zane, Zeke, Lincoln, Hudson, Bentley, Sage, Dominic, Asher, Dilynn, Hailey, Harper, Harley, Lydia, Luca, and Lynx; one sister, Geraldine Shaikoski of Fairmont, Minnesota; one brother-in-law, Dean Mitzner; one friend of the family, Jolene; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; one son, Gerald Johnson; three infant children; and sisters, Phyllis Mitzner, and Mildred "Millie" Anderson.
