Garrett, Angela Renee
Ypsilanti, MI

Angie went to be with Jesus Sunday, July 7, 2019.

She was born January 6, 1976 in Ypsilanti to James and Sandra (Craiger) Garrett. She was 43 years old and way too young to leave us.

Angela was a joy to be around. She had a beautiful smile and a giving heart. She loved her family and her children so much. She was even thinking of others in donating to the Gift of Life.

She was so looking forward to seeing her daughter Caitlyn and Amer get married in October and so excited about seeing her walk down the aisle. Angela loved babies so much she said she couldn’t wait to become a grandmother and hold those precious babies in her arms. She would have made a wonderful grandmother. She loved her children, Jasmine, Caitlyn and Brandon with all her heart and soul.

She enjoyed so many things like sitting and watching the birds, ducks and squirrels or just laughing and joking. She also loved dancing, dressing up for Halloween, going to Cedar Point, running marathons with her brother Scott, coloring and just being with her many friends and family.

In the last year of her life, she had so many health issues she could not do all she wanted to do. But now she is free of all pain and suffering and she is with Jesus and the angels in eternal happiness.

Angie you will be truly missed by all of us. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Angie, this is not goodbye, it’s just so long until we meet you again, our beautiful daughter.

She left behind to grieve: her daughters, Caitlyn and Jasmine Gabrys and son Brandon Gabrys; her father and mother, James and Sandra Garrett; sister Shelly (Bill) White; brothers, Scott (Paula) Garrett and Christopher Garrett; uncles and aunts, Dexter and Ann Craiger and David and Yvonne Craiger; a host of nieces and nephews, many, many cousins and numerous friends.

The funeral service will be 11 am Friday, July 12, 2019 at Stark Funeral Service with Elder Tom Pitney officiating. Cremation will follow.
