Frank was called Sonny and had ambitions of becoming a pilot. He trained at Curtis Wright flying classes in Greenwich Village. Sadly he had an ear problem which made it impossible. Luckily he was a whiz with paint, coloring and, in later years, with hanging very delicate wallpaper and made a good living at it. He and Nora raised four children in Southold - two girls and two boys.
