Jo Carolyn Johnson, age 72 passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home in Haworth, OK.
She was born May 26, 1948, the daughter of Jesse and Josephine Jenkins. Jo Carolyn lived and graduated school in Haworth.
Jo Carolyn married Donnie Johnson and from this marriage, a daughter Lynn Johnson McCray and son Jeff Johnson were born.
After the passing of Donnie Johnson, Jo Carolyn and Eddie Sullivan bonded and they spent 39 years together.
Jo Carolyn owned and operated, Daylight Donut Shop in Idabel, Broken Bow, and Ashdown. She was a hard worker and she always made sure she produced a great product. She stayed in this business for 11 years until she retired.
Jo Carolyn was a very active person, she liked riding horses, which she was very good at, riding 4 wheelers, deer hunting, fishing and working in her greenhouse growing flowers and plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Donnie Johnson; sister, Billie Unger and husband, John; brother-in-law, Raymond Davis; also, a grandson, Zachary Manuel; and a niece, Rhonda Holmes.
Jo Carolyn is survived by her husband, Eddie Sullivan; daughter, Lynn Johnson McCray and husband, John; son, Jeff Johnson;
Also, Eddie’s children, Eddie Phillip Sullivan, LeAnn Cox and husband, Chad, and Karen Hider;
Grandchildren, Justin Guffey, Jenna Blackburn, Jessie Johnson, Rance Cox, Dustin Cox, and they all called her Gramma;
She also leaves to cherish her memory, a brother J. W. Jenkins and wife, Donzell; sisters, Barbara Davis, Bonnie Sharp and husband, Ben, Judy Smith and husband, Don; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Haworth Cemetery in Haworth, OK.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the funeral home.
