Ray H. Bryant, Sr., 67, of Norfolk, husband of Connie Sue( Potter) Trace Bryant and co-owner of Virginia Wall Systems, Inc., passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. We lost a phenomenal husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and friend and he will forever be missed. Ray left us peacefully in the arms of the love of his life, soul mate and wife, Connie and was surrounded by all of his family. He was devoted to his wife and family, loved his puppy dogs and spent more than 30 years running the field for Virginia Wall. Predeceased by his parents, Benjamin R. and Margaret E. Bryant and brother, Benjamin R. Bryant, Jr.
Left to honor his life are his wife, Connie (Potter)Bryant; children, Tracy (Bryant)Tulodieski, Ray Bryant, Jr. (Sylvia), Kim (Bryant)Troche (Paul),William Trace, Jr., Kenny Bailey (Laura) and Stacey Bock (John); Sisters-in law, Gail and Eula; brother in law, Billy; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and business partners Ron Maxson and Gary Ouellette and a host of friends as well as his precious Molly and Buddy.Preceded in death by infant son Ray Henry Bryant jr.
A Celebration of Mr. Bryant's life will be held 11:00 am, Friday, May 31, 2013 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6-8 pm.
