Ms. Cynthia Murphy was born on January 8, 1954 in Atlanta, Texas to Albert and Anita Nickleberry. On January 13, 2021 she heard the call of our heavenly father, and made her earthly transition from labor to reward. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Anita Nickleberry; her daughter, Shannon Stoker; sisters, Mary Wafer Huey, and Carolyn Nickleberry; and brother Calvert Glenn Nickleberry.
She attended school at Carver High School.
At an early age, Cynthia accepted Christ. She was a very active member of Parkview Baptist Church prior to her passing.
Cynthia had a passion for cooking! She was a great cook, and worked at Cotton Patch for 27 years. She was known for her catering, and helping hand that she would extend to anyone in need.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her two sons, Joshua (Tasha) Sanders Sr., and Carlton Grant; Sister, Merlyn LaFayette; grandchildren, Dexterrell (Kaelah) Stoker, Andre, Samarri, Maliya, Joshua Jr., Cydney, Tyler, Cameron, and Alanna; great-granddaughter, Raelah Stoker; nieces and nephews, Tristan (LaCarroll) Nickleberry, Tammeka Nickleberry, Quinton Nickleberry,Kaye Nickleberry, Tonya Nickleberry, Chris (Shelita) LaFayette, and Takashima Nickleberry; aunts, Dorothy, and Mary; and uncle, Claudi Nickleberry. She also leaves behind a community of friends, family, and coworkers.
