Benny Allen Houck, 69, a lifelong Seminole, Oklahoma resident, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at his home. He was born July 15, 1951, in Seminole to Allen Sylvester Houck and Alice MaryAnn (Rodgers) Houck. Benny received his GED and several trade certifications and was self-employed as a diesel mechanic. Benny enjoyed fishing, gardening, bottle collecting, metal yard sculpturing, gun collecting and restoring old Fords. He enjoyed spending time with his children and family, and he loved his chickens. He was survived by a son; Brian Maloy of Choctaw, Oklahoma; daughter, Cynthia Houck-Austin and husband Mark Austin of Seminole, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Temperance Houck, Aiden Maloy, Franklin Gore, Amy Houck, Bradley Houck, Patrick Austin and Steven Austin; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Jean Maloy (Houck); son, Steven Ray Houck; and daughter, Ivona Maloy. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 3 February, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmy and Nita Moreland officiating. Burial followed at Little Cemetery. Casket bearers were Franklin Gore, Brian Maloy, Patrick Austin, Darrell Wood, Larry Grant and Kevin Bane.
