Rebecca Jane Hughes, age 75, of Amity, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, near Alpine. She was born July 1, 1944, in Janesville, WI, the daughter of the late Phillip and Mary Strickland Resse. Rebecca worked at Walgreen's and stocked the Hallmark cards. She was a member of First Apostolic Faith Church in Amity. Rebecca loved to grow plants and spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Judy Cash.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Bill Hughes, one son Timothy Hughes (Michelle) of McKinney, TX, two daughters, Sherry Hughes of Hot Springs and Susan Barnett (Stephen) of Hot Springs, one grandson Kellun Barnett, one brother, Tom Reese of Sandusky, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
