Mathew Dylan Curtis-Allen of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away in Durant, Oklahoma January 24, 2021 at the age of 23. Mathew was born Sunday, February 2, 1997 to Kristi Curtis Korff and Joel William Allen in Bay City, Texas. He attended Tidehaven High School; and after graduating in 2016 moved to Bryan County from Blessing, Texas. Mathew worked in the auto care industry as an Auto Technician at Quick Lane Ford. He enjoyed the beach, working on the ranch, enjoyed fishing even more, and was a member of the Red River and Little Dixie Bass Clubs. Mathew was of the Baptist faith. He is loved by many and will be dearly missed by many more.

Preceding Mathew in death are his grandfather Noel D. Curtis, grandmother, Kathy Burns and grandfather, Lewis Allen.

Left to cherish his memory Mother Kristi Curtis Korff and husband Steven of Palacios, Texas; Father Joel and wife Shannon Allen of Bokchito; step-father Frankie Knebel and wife Jeananne; Siblings Reece and Raymond Kneble of Blessing, Texas, Haley Davis of San Diego, California, Zachary and wife Jessica Smith of San Diego, California, Caleb Smith of Sulphur Springs, Texas, “Lil Sis” Myranda and husband Jessee Collins of Durant Tyler Korff, Garrett Korff and Lauren Korff.

Grandparents: Papa Donald of Paris, Texas, Peggy Allen of Bokchito, Oklahoma and Billy and Geneva Smith of Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Aunt Kelli Curtis and Uncle Dennis Manjang of Blessing, Texas Uncle Steven Curtis and wife Tracey of Austin, TX, Aunt Zane and husband Gary Smith of Burleson, Texas, and Uncle Robert Allen of Pleasanting, Texas and Steven Smith and wife Stephania of Sulpher SpringsTX; Nieces and nephews Mason, Logan, and Ethan Davis, Skyler and Sayler Smith, Ryder and Rylan Collins, and Beau Smith, along with girlfriend Kaitlin Carillo and many other loved ones and friends.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home followed by services to celebrate Mathew’s life will be at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, TX. Pallbearers will be Reece Kneble, Raymond Knebel, Michael Tate, Preston Boney, Jessee Collins and Caleb Smith.
