Robert E. Ellington, age 79, of Lafe, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at his home in Lafe.
He was a World War II veteran, member of Unity Baptist Church and avid bowler.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Ellington of the home; four daughters, Patricia, Janice, Edith, Barb; two sons; Bobby and Mark; sister, Helen Earlene Maynard; 20 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Heath Colonial Chapel and burial was in Woods Chapel Cemetery.
