Mary Robbins, the eldest child of Gent. John Robbins and Mary Welles, b. of record 20 Jan. 1641/2 in Wethersfield, Conn. She died either in Wethersfield or adjoining Glastonbury, Conn. by 1679.
Mary's father died at Wethersfield on 20 June 1660 leaving an extensive probate record. Included in her father's probate is the statement that Mary, who is matched with Eleazer Kimberly, with Eleazer to take the younger children of John Robbins essentially into his own house and raise them until they reached mature age while in the interim retaining the administration and control of the Robbins estate.
