RICHARD “RIC” HECTOR HERNANDEZ, JR.

Ric went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 25, 2021 at 31 years old.

Those who know Ric, know of his kindness, loyalty and know he deeply loved his family. Ric loved life, he enjoyed being out by the sun and water, riding has skateboard and spending time with those he loved. Ric enjoyed celebrations, cooking carne asada, drinking a Dos Equis, and smoking a blunt.

Ric is survived by his daughter Illiana, who he affectionately called “my little doodie” and when they are standing side by side you know why. Other surviving relatives include his mother Irene, siblings, Adrianne, Erin, and Ivan, Grandma Moy, Uncle Rich, Uncle Marty, Auntie Ines, numerous cousins and friends.

Ric was loved by many for his genuinely caring and outgoing personality, and his sense of humor. We will miss your corny jokes, many facial expressions, and cheesy grin.

In his honor a visitation will be held, 9:00 – 10:00 am, Saturday, January 30, 2021, with funeral services at 10:00 am, at Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson.

Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Robert Hernandez, Chad Garza, Jon Garza, Donoven Marines, Juan Marines, Jr., Christian Marines, Charles Lane, and Angel Trevino.
