Adam (Mac) McCloskey, 47, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Shadyside. He was born in Tyrone, son of Paul and Linda (Seward) McCloskey.

Surviving are his parents; a daughter, Elizabeth; a son, Bailey Stout; a sister, Alison Leahey (Chris); and many extended family members. He is also survived by Victoria McCloskey and Rachael Bowser and families. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vanessa.

Adam graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1992. He retired from the US Army after 21 years of service, including a tour in Iraq. Adam was currently employed as a correction officer with SCI Huntingdon for 17 years.

Adam enjoyed Harley motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends. He loved his family, country, and flag. He had a huge heart to all who knew him. As Adam would say, “Hold my beer and watch this”.

A private service will be led by Monsignor Robert Saly at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
