Leslie Thomas Lester, 75 of Arab died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Marshall Manor Nursing Home, Guntersville.
Mr. Lester was born December 9, 1941 in Marshall County, Alabama the son of Thomas O. and Lucille Bonner Lester. Before his retirement he was a Loading Dock Worker at Pilgrim's Pride.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Janie and Mike Franks of Scottsboro and Carla Lester of Grant; four grandsons: Dustin Lester (Mary) of Michigan, Keith Bearden of Grant, Aaron Franks and Jordan Franks both of Grant; three great grandchildren: Gwen Lester, Tanner Bearden and Alayna Bearden; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Bobby and Maria Lester of Huntsville and R. D. and Debbie Lester of Arab; a sister and brother-in-law: Glenda and James Ditto of Arab, several other relatives and many dear friends and neighbors; Preceded in death by a daughter: Donna Lester and his parents: Thomas and Lucille Lester
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Gober Funeral Chapel, Arab with Johnn Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill FCM Church Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel, Arab, Alabama, directing.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Franks, Jordan Franks, Keith Bearden, and Michael Gary.
