Geneva Noble Williams, age 93, of Townville, SC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at her home.
She was born June 28, 1927 in Breathitt County, KY, to the late Roscoe and Polly Watkins Noble.
Mrs. Williams spent most of her life taking care of her family as a wife and mother but following the death of her husband, she took over the position of President of their family business, Carolina Mold and Tool Co. She was an avid bowler and gardener and loved feeding the birds and squirrels. Geneva especially cared for animals, rescuing over 10 cats and dogs. RIP Buddy.
She is survived by one son, Dennie Williams (Carol) of Bellbrook, OH, and two daughters, Connie Cantrell (Bruce) of Dayton, OH, and Patricia Tucker of Ratcliff, AR; one brother, Troy Noble (Sharon) of Dauphin Island, AL; two sisters, Geraldine Barre of Mansfield, OH, and Sarah Crose (Dallas) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Angela L. Abbitt, Amy C. Smith, Amanda D. Brockman, Barbara Ann Wilhelm, and Jeffrey Kenneth Williams; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Williams in 2005; son, Kenneth Williams; grandsons Mark Williams and Michael Williams; son-in-law, Lawrence Tucker; grandson, Edward Tucker; three brothers, Clay, Lawrence, and Arthur Noble; and two sisters, Easter Adams, and Lillie Marie Mitchell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A cryptside service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Chaplain Deon Louw officiating.
