Services for Mr. Robert Wayne Daily will be held at 2 p.m. at Searcy Baptist Church in Trout with Reverend Richard DeBusk officiating and the eulogy by his brother, Paul Daily. Burial will follow in the Belah Cemetery in Belah with Reverend Steve Jones officiating under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

The family requests that visitation be observed Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Searcy Baptist Church in Trout.

Mr. Daily, 73, of Trout, was born on July 13, 1947 in Winnfield and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 28, 2021. He was a member of the LaSalle Parish Farm Bureau Board. He retired after more than 30 years of service with Hunt Petroleum. Robert was a proud Veteran who served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a medic. He served the Lord wholeheartedly; he was a member of Searcy Baptist Church, he was on the building ground committee, Acts 1:8 ministry team, and was a Sunday school teacher as well as a greeter. He was a driving force in the building of the new church. He served his Lord in his daily life. His church family was very important to him. Robert was the sweetest and kindest man and such a gentleman at heart, with a very unselfish nature. He was a true cowboy, hardworking, with a spirit of determination.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Robert Daily and Lexie Parker Daily.

Those left to cherish in his memory include his loving wife, Kathy Love Daily; son, Bob Daily (Denise); daughter, Lexie Daily Pitre (John), and Kim Fitzgerald (Jeffery); brother, Paul Daily (Joanna); sisters, Ruth Tingle, and Sandra Hudson (Nathan); grandchildren, Robert Allen, and Dillon Spears, Alex Cauley, Austin, and Ethan Daily, Kinley, and Kora Fitzgerald; and great granddaughter, Evelyn Cauley.

Pallbearers will be Robert Allen Spears, Dan Daily, Dillon Spears, Alex Schopp, Austin Daily, and Ethan Daily.

Flowers are welcome and the family has designated the Wild Horse Ministries at 123 Appleby Rd. Trout, La. 71371 for memorial contributions.
