Bobby Lee Lewis, 66, of Tampa, Florida was born April 19, 1954 to the late Gladys and Jesse Lewis, Sr. Having matriculated through the Columbia County school system, Bobby was a 1972 graduate of Columbia High School. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and continued his work with the Federal Government as a Postman with the US Postal Service. Notably, Bobby made history by becoming the 1st Black Mail Carrier in Lake City.

Other precedents in death includes: brothers, Jessie Lewis, Jr., and Warren Lewis, Sr., and niece Laurie Milligan.
